Job description

Responsibilities
  • Lead sales, FAE, and product team to design and engineer storage solution proposals to influence and win enterprise customers
  • Lead engineering, service and technical support organizations to resolve all customer issues ensuring operational excellence in post‑sales system and technology deployments
  • Design and define next‑generation storage server system architecture and work with product managers to manage product development cycles and customer delivery
  • Partner closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure product roadmap is competitive in the market
  • Work closely with internal engineering team to ensure clients' expectations and requirements are incorporated in the new platform
  • Ensure customer overall satisfaction, collaborate with internal engineering teams to resolve clients' issues or concerns in a timely manner
  • Write technical white papers related to prototypes as well as final resulting products
  • Work with marketing to publish products and white papers on tech magazines, etc. and promote the final storage system
  • Must review SMCI stg system and create 3 new storage systems per quarter based on available market trends
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering or equivalent experiences, MBA is highly preferable
  • At least 8 years of experience in business development or promoting storage solutions, or server/computer hardware products solutions preferred
  • Prior experience working with tier‑1 and/or tier‑2 OEMs, broad experience across product management, product marketing, sales, and business development roles
  • Solid communication skills in both verbal and written
  • Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and marketing skills
  • Strong executive presence with a track record of winning mid‑to‑large clients/business
