Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented press operator to join our production team.The Press Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the press machine to print designs according to the requirements. Our ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, good mechanical skills, and the ability to carry out tasks with precision. The ultimate aim of the role is to produce high-quality printings that meet customer requirements and company standards. We offer Medical, FSA, Dental, Vision, and 401k.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Punctual and dependable.
    Set up, operate, and maintain letterpress machine
  • Adjust machine components to regulate speed, pressure, and temperature
    Load, position, and adjust unprinted materials on holding fixtures or in equipment loading and feeding mechanisms
    Monitor feeding, printing, and racking processes of presses to maintain specified operating levels
  • Examine printed materials for clarity, sharpness, and accurate color
    Mix inks or dyes to produce desired colors
  • Clean and lubricate printing machines and components to ensure optimal operation
    Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment as needed
    Open to helping other departments like sorting, coating cutting etc.

Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a press operator or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of print production processes and techniques.
  • Proficient in using letterpress machines and other printing equipment.
  • Good mechanical skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship is a plus
