Job description

Job Title: Wiring & Assembly Specialist

Location: Meadville, PA

We specialize in Laser Welding, TIG Welding, and Cladding, handling component repairs, modifications, and assembly for aerospace, medical, and injection molding industries. Job Summary: Seeking a Wiring & Assembly Specialist responsible for electrical and pneumatic wiring and assembly for robotic laser systems.

Essential Duties:

  • Assemble and wire control panels, I/O, and enclosures, including pneumatic components.
  • Connect and install electrical components such as PLCs, relays, switches, and terminals.
  • Perform mechanical assembly of automation components.
  • Conduct inspections, wiring tests, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Read schematics, blueprints, and work orders for assembly instructions.
  • Collaborate with engineers and customers to test robotic systems.
  • Maintain material lists and update Bills of Material.
  • Operate hand tools and move materials as needed.
  • Assist with other projects as required.

Required Skills:

  • High school diploma with 1+ year experience in control panel wiring.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and tool operation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of electrical concepts, schematics, and multimeter usage.
  • Familiarity with electromechanical and automation equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Rockwell/Allen Bradley, AutoCAD, and industrial robots.
