Architectural Metals Installer- (ACM Panels)
Journeyman, Foreman, skilled laborers

Job Summary: You will work daily with your crew installing a variety of exterior metal panels, primarily ACM panels, flashings, and occasionally metal roofing on commercial buildings. For this role candidates must be proficient in some architectural metals installations and meet the listed requirements for this role.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Install metal wall panel systems, ACM, cladding, and metal roofing on commercial buildings Install clips, cut/trim metal panels, level, mount panels, install flashings
  • Conduct work from heights and elevated platforms- boom lifts, scissor lifts, scaffolding, etc.
  • Use hand/power tools and job site equipment regularly
  • Assist in loading and unloading material
  • Follow all safety rules and procedures
  • Participate in safety classes and certifications as required
  • Set up fall restraint equipment and wear PPE
  • Travel and work at various jobsites as needed (Salt Lake County, Utah County, Weber County)
  • Assist in the shop or in other departments as needed

Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience with architectural metals installations is required (various kinds of exterior metal panels, ACM, flashings, fasteners, clips, etc.)
  • Has reliable transportation/own motor vehicle
  • Very comfortable working from heights and outdoors year-round
  • Previous experience with fall-prevention and following safety procedures
  • Willing to submit background check and drug test
  • Can pass a background check and meet job site requirements- if applicable
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship)
