Overview

Schedule: Monday through Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm

The MV Panel Builder at Quality Electrical Systems (QES) is responsible for the hands-on assembly, wiring, and quality inspection of control panels used in industrial automation systems. This role requires a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined individual with a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to interpret schematics. The position plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality production within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and work from electrical schematics, engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and bills of materials
  • Assemble and wire control panels according to specifications and quality standards
  • Cut, strip, crimp, and wire gauges ranging from 26 AWG to 12 AWG
  • Mount electrical components including relays, switches, terminal blocks, and circuit breakers
  • Fabricate and modify control panel enclosures using hand and power tools
  • Apply proper torque using appropriate tools to secure all components
  • Perform rework or corrections as directed by the Quality Control (QC) Technician
  • Conduct basic QC testing of panels to verify functionality and compliance with design requirements
