Job description

Concierge Medicine of West Palm Beach is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician to join our private membership-based practice.

Concierge Medicine of West Palm Beach is a premier concierge Internal Medicine practice focused on delivering personalized, evidence-based care that exceeds traditional standards. We take a proactive, whole-body approach to health, emphasizing prevention, early detection, and optimizing long-term wellness for each patient through longer visits, advanced diagnostics, and a strong physician-patient relationship. We are a thriving concierge practice with a reputation for excellence in the community, with a consistent demand for new memberships. We provide unhurried, relationship-driven care to a limited panel. Physicians have time to connect, think, educate, and heal the way medicine was meant to be practiced.

We are seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician who is committed to exceptional, relationship-based care in a modern concierge setting. The concierge physician will serve as the primary care physician for their patient panel, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases affecting internal organs and systems. The physician will also provide comprehensive care, manage chronic conditions, and offer preventative services. They will also diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic illnesses.

The Concierge physician is available to their patients 24/7, via phone and messaging (i.e., texting or via EMR patient portal) except when out of office on leave, such as for vacation, medical reasons, or conferences.

Effective communication, sound customer service skills and prompt responsiveness are essential in this role. Compassion, teamwork, adaptability, and high levels of professionalism are required in order to provide the best bedside care and success in this position as we build relationships with our patients.

Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to, direct patient care in an office setting and courtesy rounds for patients in local hospitals. Responsibilities may also include participation in community events as Concierge Medicine of West Palm Beach ambassadors. Care coordination and facilitation as well as proper documentation of patient encounters in the EMR are essential to making the concierge medicine practice successful. Prompt communication of results via telephone and/or electronic messaging (via EMR) is a top priority. In order to deliver high quality care to our patients, additional responsibilities include effectively communicating and working with the clinical and non-clinical staff members of the Concierge Medicine of West Palm Beach team.

A typical office day for a Concierge Medicine physician might look like this:

  • Membership-style practice, with smaller patient panels.
  • Unhurried appointments that are on time.
  • Patients receive your undivided attention, and you can proactively impact their lives.
  • Chronic disease management, annual exam, pre-op clearance and routine follow-up appointments.
  • Stay on top of medical advances and have time to research challenging cases.

  • Leverage cutting-edge diagnostics and technologies.

The ideal candidate:

  • MD or DO, board-certified in Internal Medicine.
  • Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Should preferably have at least 3 years of experience in a primary care setting.
  • Personally aligns with a healthy lifestyle and wellness principles.
  • Demonstrate commitment to practicing high-touch, patient-centered medicine.
  • Deliver comprehensive internal medicine services focused on prevention, early detection, and long-term health optimization.
  • Should possess great communication skills and exceptional bedside manner.
  • Values and understands how to support long-term health beyond disease management.
  • Has clean malpractice and unrestricted Florida medical license.
  • Willingness to offer a high level of care for patients.
  • Tech savvy with the ability to use and learn our systems.
  • Ability to be adaptable and work in a fluid, multitasking environment.
  • Strong process and organizational skills.
  • The ability to problem-solve and think outside of the box.

Base salary: $250,000-325,000/year plus bonuses or Competitive Salary, Bonus and benefits package.

Facility: Outpatient Concierge Medical Practice in West Palm Beach, FL

Schedule: Start ASAP

Office hours: Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri 8:30am-5:30pm, then on call for your own patients

Flexible call schedule with other concierge physicians

Assignment: Outpatient Only

Physician will round on own patients in the hospital informally as a patient advocate, but the hospitalist will manage the case.
