As an Electrical Project Manager working with the LotusWorks team, you will join our client site in the Semiconductor sector at a cutting-edge facility in Chandler, Arizona. In this role, you will oversee the installation and delivery of low-voltage electrical systems while working closely with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, trade partners, General Contractors, clients, and senior management to ensure projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead all aspects of the project, from planning and scheduling to execution and closeout, while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines, tracking progress and adjusting as needed.
  • Oversee the procurement and coordination of necessary materials, equipment, and manpower to support electrical construction activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards, with a specific focus on semiconductor facility specifications.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, resolving issues and conflicts to maintain project momentum.
  • Provide regular project status updates and reports to senior management and clients, addressing any concerns or deviations from the project plan.
  • Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility, enforcing best practices and protocols.
  • Mentor and support project team members, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in scheduling and sequencing tasks to meet tight deadlines.
  • Maintain strong and positive relationships with the General Contractor (GC) and trade partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project objectives.
  • Work with commissioning software, construction management software, and BIM software.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
Skills Required:
  • Approximately 10+ years of relevant experience in the electrical construction industry.
  • Proven experience managing electrical construction projects within semiconductor or mission-critical facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low-voltage electrical systems, electrical panels, and electrical cables.
  • Knowledge of and experience with commissioning electrical panels, electrical cables, and low-voltage systems.
  • Electrical trade background with relevant project management experience.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, sequencing, and risk management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and trade partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software and tools.
  • Experience working with commissioning software, construction management software, and BIM software.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Education / Licenses / Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Electrical Journeyman (JM) license or electrical certification preferred.
