As a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Panel Coordinator in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor security-related systems, and provide outstanding customer service. You will serve as a professional, visible presence while helping to deter incidents through clear communication and attention to detail. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

  1. Day Time Mon 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
  2. Tue 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
  3. Wed 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
  4. Thur 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
  5. Fri 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Staff the front desk in a commercial real estate location, greet and direct visitors, maintain visitor logs, and support access-control procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
  • Monitor entry areas, building communications, and security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
  • Assist with tenant and visitor inquiries, deliveries, and building access requests while maintaining a professional, welcoming presence.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
