Fire Alarm Technician

$24–$27/hr

Monday–Friday | No Weekends

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM


Join a crew working on one of the most exciting commercial construction projects in Nashville right now. We're hiring experienced Fire Alarm Technicians for a long-term, stable engagement with consistent day-shift hours and no weekend work.


What You'll Do

  • Install, terminate, and test fire alarm systems per NFPA 72 and local code
  • Pull and route conduit and cabling for devices, panels, and ancillary 2
  • Install and program fire alarm control panels (FACPs) and associated devices
  • Perform point-to-point testing and system commissioning with the AHJ
  • Read and work from blueprints, riser diagrams, and system submittals
  • Maintain accurate as-built documentation and inspection records
  • Coordinate with other trades to ensure proper sequencing and compliance


What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of commercial fire alarm installation experience
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 72 and applicable local codes
  • Experience with Notifier, Simplex, EST, Siemens, or equivalent FACP platforms
  • Ability to read construction drawings and system submittals
  • NICET Level II preferred; Level I considered with strong field experience
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check and drug screen


Bonus Points For

  • Experience on large commercial construction projects
  • Tennessee Low Voltage license (or ability to obtain)
  • Familiarity with mass notification systems
