Maintenance Technician (Entry Level)

PalletOne, Inc. is looking for a motivated entry-level Maintenance Technician who's ready to learn, grow, and contribute to a high-performing manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you'll help keep our equipment and facility running safely and efficiently while building valuable technical skills in an industrial environment.
If you enjoy troubleshooting, working with tools, and being part of a supportive team, this is a great opportunity to start or grow your maintenance career.
What You'll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll support daily operations by maintaining and repairing equipment under the guidance of experienced technicians and supervisors.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Perform routine and scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks
  • Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery using hand and power tools
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and identifying solutions
  • Follow OSHA and safety standards, including lockout/tagout procedures
  • Read and interpret basic machine schematics with limited guidance
  • Organize parts, tools, and materials in designated locations
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with supervisors and team members
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to support overall plant success
  • Participate in special projects and take on other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For
We're seeking dependable, detail-oriented candidates who are eager to learn and take pride in their work.
Required:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs independently
  • Willingness to provide personal tools as required
  • Strong safety awareness and ability to follow instructions

Preferred:
  • 1-2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
  • Experience using presses, drills, clamps, and other small tools
  • Interest in learning precision measuring tools (to .001"), such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators
  • Basic troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
