Job description

Travel Cath Lab Technician

Location: Sanford, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Travel Cath Lab Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Cath/EP lab, performing various procedures and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of patients undergoing cath lab procedures.
  • Perform both EP circulating and scrubbing duties.
  • Operate and maintain advanced medical equipment such as GE flouro, Mac Lab, Acist, and Volcano.
  • Document patient care activities accurately using Mac Lab and Medi tech systems.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as required.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or RCIS certification if applicable.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the Cath lab or similar setting.
  • Candidate must have advanced skills in EP circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring.
