Principal Recruitment Consultant – Legal

Are you an experienced 360 Legal Recruiter looking to elevate your career? Do you thrive in a fast‑paced advisory environment, connecting high‑calibre legal professionals with world‑class organisations?

We are seeking a Principal Recruitment Consultant to join Larson Maddox in Charlotte—someone who is motivated to grow, driven to deliver, and eager to leverage Phaidon's world‑leading platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across legal placements, including sourcing, interviewing, shortlisting, and managing the offer process.
Client Partnership
  • Build and strengthen relationships with law firms, in‑house legal departments, and regulatory/governance teams.
  • Provide consultative hiring support tailored to clients’ legal and regulatory needs.
Candidate Engagement
  • Structured Finance Lawyers / Associates
  • Asset Finance Lawyers
  • Senior Legal Counsel / General Counsel roles
  • Employment Lawyers / Employment Counsel
Market Insight
  • Stay informed on legal industry trends, regulatory updates, and market movements to provide expert insights to clients and candidates.
Performance & Collaboration
  • Consistently meet and exceed activity and revenue targets.
  • Share best practices and collaborate with colleagues across Phaidon’s global network.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a 360 Recruiter, ideally within legal, regulatory, compliance, governance, or professional services recruitment.
  • Strong understanding of the end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrable success in target‑driven environments.
  • Highly proactive, resilient, and commercially minded.
  • Comfortable using CRM, sourcing tools, and recruitment technology.
