Job description

Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A seeks full-time Production Team Members for our Consumer Products manufacturing facility in Lincoln, NE. Candidates should enjoy a fast-paced environment, demonstrate ability to follow directions and be self-motivated. Candidates with spray painting experience will be given preference.
Starting Pay: $24.05/per hour, plus $1.25/per hour for 2nd shift differential
Available Shifts:
  • 2nd: Monday - Friday, 2:45 PM - 10:55 PM (training period on 1st shift)

We are also seeking individuals with consistent work history willing to learn new skills, even if you do not have previous manufacturing experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Operate a manual spray gun to apply adhesion promoters, basecoats, and clear coats.
  • Monitor parts and adjust spray patterns as needed.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with other painters.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring equipment is in proper condition.
  • Perform additional finishing tasks as needed, including wet sanding, polishing, and parts hanging.

Training and Physical Requirements of Spray Painters:
  • Ability to operate spray gun for entire shift
  • Able to wear breathable air hood
  • No known allergies or adverse reactions to paint, solvents, Tyvek or Latex
  • Operation of production equipment and tools within standard operating procedures while maintaining quality output
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, follow directions, and be self-motivated
