Job description

Delivery Driver/Counter Sales - Part Time
Position Summary: The Delivery Driver/Counter Sales is primarily responsible for driving the delivery vehicle over established routes to deliver products to clients and customers. As a Delivery Driver you will provide exceptional customer service to our customers within the store and while delivering products. When not busy making deliveries, will work in the paint store assisting customers, completing stocking and inventory, and mixing and tinting paint and related products.
Store Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Saturday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Closed on Sundays! Flexible scheduling available.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver products to customers safely and efficiently using a company vehicle
  • Follow designated routes and time schedules to ensure products are delivered promptly
  • Load and unload the delivery vehicle
  • Prepare orders by mixing/tinting products to customers' specifications
  • Accurately identify and match paint colors
  • Mix and tint paint and related coatings products
  • Assist customers over the phone and in the store with orders and questions
  • Accurately process cash and credit card transactions while properly maintaining a cash drawer
  • Provide a high level of customer service, ensuring that customers are satisfied with the products and services
  • Collaborate with coworkers and managers to maintain a smooth workflow
  • Restocking shelves, putting away inventory, tidying the store, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License
  • Must be punctual and dependable
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a team player
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Basic computer skills and math skills
  • Must be able to distinguish the difference between colors
  • High school diploma or comparable certification (GED)
  • Bilingual a plus (Spanish/English)
  • Prior experience in delivery, retail sales, cashiering, or customer service positions is a plus but not required

This job requires standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, walking, reaching overhead, gripping, squatting, lifting, and carrying the product to and from the delivery and customer vehicles, as well as to areas within the store and possible job delivery sites.
