Paint & Wash Associate – First Shift
Location: Glass Fabrication Company in Kentwood, MI
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM
First Day: 8 AM Start
Pay: $18.00/hr

We’re seeking a reliable Paint & Wash Associate for our first shift. If you’re motivated, detail-oriented, and dedicated to quality, this is your opportunity to grow with us!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce high-quality glass products on schedule, maintaining safe practices and minimizing costs.
  • Foster a respectful, positive work environment and demonstrate strong work ethic on the shop floor.
  • Prepare and measure parts using blueprints, specifications, tape measures, and gauges to ensure standards are met.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members on production, inventory, and quality issues.
  • Prepare, hand-spray, rack, cure, and bake glass parts for paint processes—including custom logos and small batch color matches.
  • Clean and maintain wet paint materials, paint areas, and machines; change paper rolls and perform routine maintenance.
  • Inspect finished products, participate in quality decisions, and assist with touch-ups/remakes as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement, preventive maintenance, and internal control initiatives.
  • Assist with other production tasks, root cause analysis, and corrective actions as required.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, encourage compliance, and help foster a culture of safety.

  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
