Paint Line Technician


Location: Greenville, Michigan

Reports to: Fabrication Supervisor


Composition Brands, renowned leaders in premium refrigeration and ice products, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Paint Line Technician to support our growing production operations. This role is vital in ensuring the accurate application of powder coatings, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing efficiency in our manufacturing processes.


As a Paint Line Technician r, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for quality and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with production, quality control, and maintenance teams to ensure that every product is finished with precision and consistency.

Expected Hours of Work: 

This is a full-time position. General hours are Monday through Thursday, 3:30a.m. - 2:00 p.m. plus overtime when required (Friday & Saturday if needed).


Position Overview:

This position requires an experienced, energetic, and detail-focused individual who wants to be a part of a growing team and company. You will be tasked with working as part of the production team at Marvel, meeting production and efficiency goals. As a Paint Line Technician, you will have hands-on involvement at every step for all manufactured products while maintaining the highest quality levels for both Marvel and U-Line brands


Responsibilities:

  • Program, monitor and adjust Powder System.
  • Recognize powder part numbers and fill feed center.
  • Perform Touch-up and reinforcement with hand spray guns.
  • Perform color change overs.
  • Perform Bonderite daily checks and chemical adjustments.
  • Trouble-shoot and perform routine maintenance on powder equipment.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 


Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and keep up with time sensitive operations.
  • Ability to always follow specific PPE requirements.
  • Experience in Industrial Powder Coating processes.
  • Ability to use measuring devices.
  • Ability to work shifts and hours mandated by management. 
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
