Albar Industries, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Clean Up Crew Supervisor to join our team. In this vital role, you will lead and support a crew responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency of our manufacturing and paint areas. Responsibilities
  • Supervise, train, and support clean-up crew members, ensuring adherence to safety and company policies.
  • Oversee cleaning and maintenance of paint booths, production lines, passageways, tunnels, and related equipment.
  • Perform and coordinate repairs on spray guns, sanders, power packs, power ratchets, robotic equipment, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ensure proper disposal of waste materials and compliance with environmental and quality management systems.
  • Maintain daily and monthly inventories of repair and cleaning supplies; manage supply orders as needed.
  • Assist in preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.
  • Document maintenance activities, equipment histories, and daily logs accurately.
  • Identify and resolve equipment or process issues using problem-solving techniques.
  • Perform general housekeeping, including painting, sweeping, mopping, and maintaining the appearance of the paint area.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to achieve production and safety goals.
  • Respond to urgent maintenance needs, which may require flexibility in shift or break schedules.
  • Ensure the correct use of personal protective equipment and enforce all safety protocols.
Qualifications
  • Experience supervising or leading a team in a manufacturing, industrial, or maintenance environment.
  • Technical skills in equipment repair, including spray guns, sanders, robotic and pneumatic systems (preferred).
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions related to equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Proficient in maintaining records and entering/interpreting data using manual and electronic systems.
  • Ability to work safely with chemicals, in confined spaces, and in varying temperature and environmental conditions.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs), carry, climb, stoop, bend, kneel, and work on steel grates for extended periods.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Hilo (forklift) license.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.
