Job description

  • Use and maintain PPE (personal protection equipment).
  • Alternates with co-workers to load/unload the mechanized paint line.
  • Operates and stands on a moving hydraulic personnel lift while spraying paint.
  • Selects correct coating to be applied to product.
  • Mix paint to correct viscosity.
  • Pours coating liquid into spray container and connects gun to air hose.
  • Turns sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray.
  • Pulls trigger and directs spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish coat to specific tolerance.
  • Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent.
  • Responsible for proper hazardous waste container management and emergency response as required
    upon completion of required hazardous waste training.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
