Job description

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a representative of Brett/Robinson, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other employees of Brett/Robinson, owners, guests, and other members of the community.
  • Reads work orders and specifications to determine areas requiring painting.
  • Uses tools required for general paint preparation.
  • Sands and prepares surfaces for painting.
  • Paints walkways, stairwells, gates, walls, outside unit door, and common door areas.
  • Reports safety issues.
  • Attends departmental meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Working Conditions:

  • Brett-Robinson maintenance departments are staffed seven days per week. There may be a scheduling need that requires evening hours.
  • Uniforms are required for all Brett-Robinson maintenance staff through Liberty Linen Uniforms must be laundered, pressed, and fit appropriately.
  • Work environment includes exposure to inclement weather, heat, and humidity.
