Job description

Title: Powder Coating Paint Line Supervisor


Location: Aurora, IL  60502

Shift: 1st Shift

Hire Type: Direct Hire

Salary: $65,000–$85,000 per year



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily operations of the powder coating department, including hanging, coating, curing, and workflow coordination
  • Plan production schedules to maximize throughput while minimizing color changes and downtime
  • Ensure production goals, quality standards, and customer delivery commitments are consistently achieved
  • Monitor coating quality, appearance, adhesion, and process consistency throughout production
  • Perform routine process audits to ensure standardized work practices and quality procedures are followed
  • Manage inventory levels for powder, chemicals, and paint line consumables
  • Train and develop paint line personnel while promoting accountability and teamwork
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput
  • Oversee preventive maintenance activities and ensure paint line equipment is operating at peak performance
  • Monitor critical paint line systems including booths, filters, washers, and related process equipment


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of powder coating or industrial paint finishing experience
  • 3+ years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of paint line operations, production flow, and process optimization
