About the role Job Summary
The Painter is responsible for working with production to prepare finished pumps for the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Manage material movement through the department which aligns with the most immediate needs of internal customers to meet On-Time-Delivery (OTD) performance metrics.
  • Operate overhead and manual floor lifting equipment to maneuver, load, and unload items onto and off of the paint line that exceed 50lbs.
  • Utilize pre-coating agents, mix and match colors and textures according to specifications, and fill or level materials as required.
  • Follow compound specifications for mixing of paints and painting techniques.
  • Apply paint and any additional finishes according to sales order and work instructions.
  • Read and interpret drawings, technical specifications and material data sheets.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records as required.
  • Perform quality inspections as described in quality plans and work instructions.
  • Follow quality procedures according to ISO 9001.
  • Commitment to following all work instructions, policies, and posted signs or instructions regarding safety, including but not limited to, proper use of required PPE at all times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of industrial or automotive painting experience
  • Ability to wear a respirator
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass 7-year criminal history background check
  • Ability to pass a hair follicle drug screen
