About the Role:
As a Painter Foreman at California Contemporary Coatings, you will lead a talented team of painters in delivering high-quality finishes for residential and commercial projects. Join us in creating beautiful spaces while ensuring safety and efficiency on every job site!
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily painting operations and manage a team of skilled painters.
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
  • Conduct site assessments and prepare surfaces for painting, including priming and finishing.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices and safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide updates.
  • Maintain inventory of painting supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is in working order.
  • Implement and enforce safety guidelines to promote a safe working environment.
  • Assist in estimating project costs and timelines for bidding purposes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a painter, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Extensive knowledge of painting techniques , tools, and materials.
  • Extensive knowledge in, but not limited to, stain color matching, glazing, specialty coatings, lime wash etc.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when necessary.
  • Must have work tools
