Job description

Exciting opportunity available for an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in Emergency Room (ER) care. This contract position offers a dynamic work environment and the chance to make a meaningful difference in high-acuity patient care.
Schedule:

  • 5 night shifts per week
Qualifications:
  • Active, unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years recent ER nursing experience, with exposure to high-volume environments
  • Level I Trauma Center experience required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in urgent situations
Desired Experience:
  • Proven track record in emergency departments at Level I facilities
  • Experience with a diverse patient population and complex medical conditions
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in the ER setting, including rapid assessment and intervention
  • Triage, monitor, and document patient status
  • Collaborate efficiently with healthcare team members and physicians
  • Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
  • Communicate compassionately with patients and their families during stressful situations
