About Us
Osterville Hardware is a small-town hardware store rooted in excellent customer service. Our friendly and helpful staff has been a staple of the community since 1944, building relationships and helping solve our customer's problems. We have a fun work environment that encourages creative thinking and problem solving.
We are looking for someone who wants to build and grow our paint department.
In the position of assistant paint manager, you will be working on the sales floor directly with the customers. You will be assisting customers with their needs and assisting in solving their problems. Understanding and explaining the products as well as tinting and mixing paints are critical parts of this position. You will be working with our store manager and will be expected to fulfill our mission and achieve our priorities and goals. Outside of working with our customers you will be expected to help ordering and stocking products, cleaning and maintaining the organization of the store and your specific department. Being knowledgeable about the products we sell is an important part of the job. We will train you one on one as well as through online training in all departments and aspects of the store as well as your specialized department. There are many different services that we offer, and we will train you so you can better assist the customers and help solve their problems.
