Under the direction of the Maintenance Director, the Maintenance Assistant is responsible for maintaining the facility grounds and assisting with general maintenance services inside and outside the facility.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with mechanics, carpentry, electrical, painting etc. Minimum of one (1) year experience in related field
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instruction furnished in written or oral diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to organize work schedule to meet work order demands
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm, and positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
  • Must be capable of performing the ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS and PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL JOB FUNCTIONS
