As a highly motivated and skilled interventional pain physician, you will play a vital role in our state-of-the-art practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform interventional pain procedures under fluoroscopy and/or ultrasound
  • Supervise Nurse Practitioners and collaborate with our interdisciplinary team
  • Examine, diagnose, and develop personalized treatment plans for patients
  • Interpret lab results, order imaging studies, and perform procedures for pain relief
  • Build relationships with referring physicians and contribute to practice growth

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • To succeed as a medical doctor in our interventional pain clinic, you should possess:
  • A medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited program, complemented by fellowship training in pain management
  • Licensure in South Carolina and North Carolina, or the ability to obtain licenses, with a current license in good standing
  • Experience or willingness to train in advanced interventional procedures, including:
    • MILD (Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression)
    • SI Fusion
    • Vertiflex
    • Kyphoplasty
    • DRG (Dorsal Root Ganglion) stimulation
    • SCS (Spinal Cord Stimulation)
    • PNS (Peripheral Nerve Stimulation)
    • And other cutting-edge procedures
  • Comfort and expertise in prescribing chronic opiate therapy, with a focus on responsible pain management
  • Willingness to travel to various locations to provide exceptional patient care
  • Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Pain Medicine, with a clear record of no board sanctions within the last five years
