We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Pain Management Physician to join our team and contribute to our mission of improving the lives of our patients.


Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Pain Management Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients suffering from chronic pain conditions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, an understanding of pain management protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with chronic pain conditions, including reviewing medical history, diagnosing underlying causes of pain, and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that incorporate a range of pain management therapies, including Botulinum toxin treatment, Epidural Steroid Injections (ESI), Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA), Intra-Articular Injections, Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS) implants, Kyphoplasty, and other procedures as deemed medically necessary.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy, behavioral health, and other specialties, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and outcomes.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in pain management practices through ongoing education and research activities.
  • Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding pain management strategies, lifestyle modifications, and behavioral health principles.
  • Participate in public health initiatives related to pain management and behavioral health, including community outreach and education programs.
Requirements:

  • Board certification in Pain Medicine or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) or Anesthesiology.
  • Strong background in hospital medicine, endocrinology, and emergency room procedures.
  • Experience in providing pain management procedures, including ESI, RFA, IA Injections, SCS implants, Kyphoplasty, and other procedures.
  • Experience in health coaching and public health initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in medical records management and medical coding practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with patients empathetically and work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health principles as they relate to chronic pain management.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating leadership qualities.
