Job description

Position Summary
The Customer Service Representatives will serve Atlas Disposal customers by providing information and resolution of product and service-related topics over the phone, by email, and through text messaging. CSRs will work closely with other departments to resolve product or service needs.

Work Environment and Expectations*

  • This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly in office position
  • Schedule is Monday Friday 9am to 6pm
  • CSRs may be asked to work overtime as needed
  • Starting pay is $20-$22 per hour

Qualifications*

  • 2-3 years of customer service in a call center environment.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus
  • Some sales experience desired
  • Waste industry experience is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge and efficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong ability to work well with people, under pressure, and with stringent time restraints.
  • Strong ability to work on multiple tasks such as email, text messages, and phone calls.

Duties and Responsibilities*

  • Handle commercial, residential, and roll-off customer calls for new and existing accounts, which may include service changes, billing questions, service cancellations, missed pickups, etc.
  • Complete appropriate forms and data entry as required ensuring accurate billing of stops, starts, and adjustments on customer accounts.
  • Generate credit and debit memos as necessary.
  • Work with a team of Customer Service Representatives collectively to achieve team goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
