IT Support Generalist (Full Time)

Job Duties:
  • Provide technical support for the entire organization.
  • Leverage analysis techniques to understand and identify the cause of issues with networks, hardware, system configurations, software, and permissions. Apply knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Set up, install, and configure new workstations, user profiles, and accounts.
  • Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of server hardware and software, including physical and virtual servers.
  • Manage user accounts, passwords, and permissions within Active Directory and Google Workspace.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on all computer system equipment.
  • Performs system support activities including system monitoring, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and system maintenance.
  • Analyze data and import logs to resolve issues with integrations between systems.
  • Actively participate in upgrades, patches, and other remediation steps to address vulnerabilities in regards to cyber security.
  • Respond to and investigate security incidents, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
  • Monitor, and maintain security solutions (e.g.,endpoint protection, vulnerability scanning)
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring the stability of applications.
  • Providing technical support and training to end-users.
  • Maintaining documentation related to network, application, and integration support and configurations.
  • Updates and organizes system inventory and technology assets.
  • Set up and support audio/visual needs and video conferences.
  • Orders IT supplies to acquire or replenish inventory or fulfill repair requests.
  • Any and all other duties assigned by management
Qualifications for the position:
  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or its equivalent
  • Two or more years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Strong attention to detail and sound analytical skills
  • Advanced experience with personal computers that includes Windows software, spreadsheet capabilities and Internet knowledge.
Preferred Skills:
  • Understanding of technology needs in a retail environment
  • Familiarity and knowledge of google workspace
  • Experience troubleshooting phone systems and call flows
  • Experience with system integrations, data transforms, and troubleshooting import failures.
Additional Notes:
  • Must be able to travel to all company locations (NC, SC, VA, GA) as needed.
  • Most work is completed during regular business hours. Occasionally, work must be completed during non-business hours of the night or on weekends.
  • Role is designated as in-office.
