Cervello R&D is seeking highly motivated and academically driven college students to assist in developing and authoring technical white papers for submission to the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD). This paid internship provides an exceptional opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research areas while gaining valuable experience in technical writing, research, and defense innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, draft, and refine white papers for submission to NAWCAD under the Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Cervello R&D engineers and scientists to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
  • Address cybersecurity considerations and outline use cases, unique advantages, and strategic approaches for proposed technologies.
  • Prepare Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost estimates and phased project schedules.
  • Participate in internal reviews to refine white paper drafts and ensure compliance with NAWCAD submission standards.
  • Engage in brainstorming sessions to identify innovative approaches in priority research areas, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Hypersonic Systems, Digital Engineering, and Cybersecurity.
