This position is for a full-time Resident Manager I with Housing to work at Point Reyes Family (27-unit) and Walnut Place (25-unit), affordable family and disabled/ special needs housing communities in Point Reyes Station, CA. These are Project Based Sec 8 and Tax Credit properties. Qualified candidates will have 1+ years of affordable housing property management experience and knowledge in HUD, TCAC, DFEH and ADA guidelines. Valid Driver's License, clean DMV record and reliable transportation are required. Yardi is a plus. Salary range: $22.62 - $40.62 per hour; hiring range for new employees is generally $22.62 - $31.61 per hour, DOE. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate and current salary level of individuals working at EAH in a similar role.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Resident Manager I is directly responsible for managing the site to ensure effective fiscal, physical and social soundness. The Resident Manager oversees the day to day operations of the property including administrative, facilities and marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collects Rent, Makes Bank Deposits,
  • Prepares and Submits Rent Roll, Verifies Income Complies with HUD, TCAC or other regulations
  • Maintains Waiting List, Prepares and Processes Leases
  • Supervises on-site Staff Processes Evictions, Conducts Annual Inspections and Coordinates Repairs For HUD Properties, submits Vouchers

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ Year of Affordable Housing Property Management Experience 
  • Knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, DFEH and ADA Guidelines
  • Ability to Develop and Implement Budgets and Variance Reports
  • Skills in Resident Problem Solving and Staff Management
