Job description

In this role, you will be a part of the team to champion our credit union's brand, telling the success stories of our members and spreading the word about the benefits that come from banking where you're the owner, where people help people and where community comes first.
You will work closely with various team members to deliver effective, aesthetic, on-brand and on-strategy digital- and print- ready creative that align with our credit union strategies and connect with both internal and external audiences.
What You Would Do:
Working in partnership with the VP Brand & Creative Services to create compelling, consistent and appropriate designs that meet objectives for credit union projects, campaigns and events. Creative needs for these projects will include but are not limited to:
  • Digital-based media
    • Page design and graphic content for web pages and emails
    • Static and rich banner ads, including banner sizing and versioning
    • Social media and video graphics
    • Reports and presentations
  • Printed materials
    • Letters, postcards and other direct mail pieces
    • In-branch promotional materials and sales support collateral
    • Special event signage and materials
  • Preserving consistency of the credit union brand and creative direction across touch points as well as ensuring design aesthetics are aligned with usability, accessibility, and web standards
  • Editing, organizing and maintaining creative assets as needed
  • Upholding basic understanding of the products and services provided by the credit union as well as emerging creative trends, best practices, and processes
  • With the assistance of other team members, you'll analyze and evaluate digital/print campaign performance, leverage research, feedback, analytics, etc. and adjust content as necessary to achieve desired results
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:
Qualifications may include:
  • Minimum 3 years of successful design experience, preferably at an agency or in-house team for a B2C service-driven business. Experience with financial services is a plus.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in digital design, graphic arts, visual communications or a related field is preferred.
  • Diverse portfolio of design work consistently showcasing solutions through effective design.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS coding and web development needed to use CMS to create and maintain web pages is required. Google Ads Certification is a plus.
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience is required; specifically, InDesign, Illustrator, and PhotoShop. Comfort working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and SendGrid email marketing platform and/or similar platforms is also needed.
