About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Commerce Cloud Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of large-scale B2B and B2C eCommerce solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/CloudCraze) and integration with enterprise systems, ensuring scalable, high-performing, and customer-centric digital commerce experiences.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end architecture, design, and delivery of Salesforce B2B & B2C Commerce Cloud solutions.
  • Develop responsive storefronts using SFRA, Page Designer, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and LWC.
  • Integrate Salesforce Commerce Cloud with SAP S/4HANA, CPQ, and third-party systems (tax, shipping, payment gateways, etc.).
  • Define technical requirements and collaborate with stakeholders, designers (via Figma), and cross-functional teams.
  • Configure core commerce features: product catalogs, pricing, promotions, shopping cart, checkout, and order management.
  • Build and maintain REST/SOAP APIs, batch jobs, and workflows for seamless backend integration.
  • Leverage Salesforce Einstein AI for personalization and enhanced customer experiences.
  • Optimize site speed, performance, and scalability using caching, indexing, and CDN strategies.
  • Oversee DevOps processes with SFDX, Git, Copado, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure system reliability with automated testing (unit, regression, performance) and QA collaboration.
  • Stay updated on eCommerce innovations and recommend improvements to enhance customer journeys.
  • Maintain compliance with security standards (OAuth, SAML, PCI-DSS).
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of Salesforce development experience, including 2+ years in Salesforce B2B/B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC/CloudCraze).
  • Proficiency in Apex, LWC, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Proven experience with SAP integrations and Salesforce DevOps tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and enterprise eCommerce business processes.
  • Expertise in performance optimization, scalability, and system security compliance.

Preferred:
  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud certification(s).
  • Hands-on experience with Einstein AI, Figma-based design workflows, and advanced CI/CD practices.
  • Knowledge of headless commerce and microservices architecture.
