Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Automotive Title Specialist to join our administrative team. This position is responsible for managing the processing of vehicle titles and registrations in a timely and accurate manner for both new and used vehicles. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have a deep understanding of DMV requirements, and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Process all incoming vehicle title and registration paperwork for retail, wholesale, lease, and fleet transactions.

  • Review documents for accuracy and completeness before submission to the DMV.

  • Maintain proper recordkeeping and filing of title paperwork and supporting documents.

  • Resolve title issues such as liens, missing documents, or other discrepancies.

  • Communicate with customers, financial institutions, and state DMV offices as needed.

  • Submit title applications electronically via state systems (e.g., TXDMV).

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all state title and registration laws and dealership policies.

  • Assist in auditing title documents and month-end reporting.

  • Support the accounting and sales departments as needed with documentation or information requests.


Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in automotive title processing or related DMV work (preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of Texas DMV title and registration procedures.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

  • Proficiency with dealership software (e.g., Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, Dealertrack, etc.) is a plus.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education or certifications a plus.
