Job description

Do you have canoeing or kayaking experience? Are you looking for opportunities to get on the water this summer? Do you want to paddle with a purpose? Join us in this effort to clean up Lake Lowell at Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge!

  • Date and Time: Saturday, July 13 from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM
  • Location: Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge, Lower Dam Area (will determine which parking lot to meet up at closer to the date)

Paddle with a purpose to clean up Lake Lowell at Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge! We will be picking up trash along the shorelines and water's surface. Watercraft equipment is not provided and we ask participants to bring their own canoe/kayak, paddles and lifejackets. Basic paddling skills and wearing lifejackets are required. Everyone must follow state regulations on having an Invasive Species Boat sticker on your watercraft.
