Job description

Join the Paddle House team and help create an outstanding experience for every guest on and off the water. We're looking for energetic, friendly, and customer-focused team members who enjoy working outdoors and providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Sell paddleboard memberships, retail merchandise, and rental packages.
  • Explain membership benefits and recommend products based on customer needs.
  • Check guests in for rentals.
  • Provide safety briefings and basic paddleboarding instruction to renters of all experience levels.
  • Assist guests with launching and returning paddleboards safely.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and inviting retail shop and waterfront area.
  • Monitor equipment condition and report any maintenance needs.
  • Promote a fun, safe, and positive environment for members and visitors.
  • Support special events, lessons, and community activities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
  • Sales or customer service experience preferred.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry paddleboards (up to approximately 50 lbs.).
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Weekend, holiday, and evening availability preferred.
  • Paddleboarding experience is a plus but not required—we'll provide training.
