Job description

We are looking for a general manager and sales floor professionals with experience in retail. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience in the retail space with experience in managing people. With that said we are able to train candidates that have the right stuff. A passion for paddle or wind sports is key.

Job Duties

· Manage and Motivate a staff of 8-10 people

· Produce and Maintain Staff Scheduling

· Oversight of daily rental operations

· Oversight of daily retail operations

· Ownership of inventory accuracy& all product receiving

· Ecommerce order processing

· Retail Sales

· Optional if qualified – SUP or Kayak Instruction

· Optional is qualified – Tour Guide Lead

Overview

· 5 Days a week / 40 hours a week with a flex schedule option

· Working at least 2-4 weekend

· 10 days paid vacation.

· Annual bonus commensurate with personal performance in concert with business performance.

· No Health Insurance Yet.

With a landmark shop located right on the water our focus is on a world class experience for our customers. While we support many sports the primary driver of the business is paddle sports.

The sports we support include SUP, Surfski, Kayak, Wingsurfing, Foiling, Outrigger Canoe, Surfing, and prone paddleboarding. Unlike most shops our focus is on hard goods and technical apparel over lifestyle goods so technical product knowledge is a plus.
