Position Title: Travel PACU Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Falmouth, MA
Job Type: Contract
Shift: Day | 5×8-hour shifts
Position Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Travel PACU RN to deliver safe, high-quality post-anesthesia and post-operative care. This role includes monitoring patient recovery, managing medications, documenting care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Strong critical-care skills and a focus on patient safety are essential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive post-anesthesia and post-op nursing care
  • Monitor vital signs, recovery status, and respond to changes promptly
  • Document all assessments and interventions accurately and timely
  • Update individualized care plans
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and care team members
  • Serve as Charge Nurse when needed
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control standards
  • Support orientation and training of nursing staff
  • Participate in required meetings and ongoing education
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Active Massachusetts RN license
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Skills in IV starts, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator care
  • Minimum 1 year of recent ICU, CVICU, ER, CVPA, or SDC/PACU experience (within the last 5 years)
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotations
