This leadership role oversees a busy Post-Anesthesia Care Unit and provides the opportunity to lead a team of 18.5 full-time staff members while supporting high-quality perioperative patient care in a collaborative hospital environment.
The PACU Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the department, combining hands-on clinical leadership with operational oversight. This role manages staffing, scheduling, workflow, and department productivity while ensuring patients receive safe, efficient, and high-quality care following surgical procedures. The manager also leads policy and protocol reviews, supports process improvement initiatives, participates in budget and inventory management, and mentors staff to promote professional growth and accountability. Success in this position requires strong leadership, sound clinical judgment, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit.
  • Manage staffing assignments and scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage and efficient workflow.
  • Provide leadership and support to a team of 18.5 FTEs.
  • Review, update, and maintain departmental policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.

Qualifications:
