Lead end-to-end delivery of clinical imaging application initiatives (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/controlling, and closeout) with disciplined governance across scope, schedule, budget, RAID, and change control.
Build and manage comprehensive project plans, work breakdown structures, dependency maps, resource plans, and integrated cutover/hypercare plans.
Drive decision closure, issue resolution, and escalations to protect timelines, quality, and operational readiness.
Establish and track project performance metrics (e.g., readiness milestones, adoption, defect trends, stabilization metrics, support volume).
Manage assigned budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and variance management; ensure projects align to funding and delivery constraints.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership
Lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment, including clinical stakeholders (radiologists and imaging center leadership), IT (AI, applications, infrastructure, security, data), operations, and vendors.
Facilitate requirements workshops and working sessions (in-person and virtual); translate clinical workflow needs into actionable technical requirements and deliverables.
Deliver executive-ready communications and presentations to mid-to-senior leadership (status, risks, decisions needed, budget outlook, and milestone confidence).
Bridge differences between parties to drive alignment, compromise, and forward progress.
Vendor Management
Manage vendor engagements end-to-end, including SOW development, deliverables tracking, implementation governance, escalation management, and acceptance criteria.
Coordinate vendor technical activities across environments (test/prod), validate release plans, and ensure support coverage during go-live and stabilization.
Ensure vendor solutions align with enterprise standards for availability, performance, security, and supportability.
Compliance, Security, and Risk
Ensure projects meet healthcare compliance expectations (HIPAA-aligned controls, PHI handling, auditability) and internal security requirements.
