Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Opportunity:

MRI Technologist - MRI

Job Details:

• Perform MRI services for inpatient, outpatient, and ED patients
• Primarily adult-focused population with pediatric patients seen only when able to cooperate and hold still
• Operate Siemens Sola 1.5T scanner for extremity, brain, and spine imaging
• Operate Siemens Skyra 3T scanner for prostate, abdominal, pelvis, and MRCP imaging
• Both 1.5T and 3T scanner experience required
• Utilize Deep Resolve AI software to help reduce scan times
• Strong and recent Siemens 1.5T and 3T experience required with a high comfort level
• Perform peripheral IV starts with IV contrast injection skills
• Conduct implant workups and follow policies for implant screenings
• Apply basic MR principles, practices, and MR safety protocols
• Typically work alongside 2 MRI techs and 1 imaging patient assistant running two scanners per shift
• Lead tech available Monday through Friday; weekend staff works mostly independently
• Virtual radiologist support available 24/7 via Teams or phone
• On-call responsibilities required with a department rotation shared equally among 8 techs with a mix of weekdays and weekends; 30-minute response time required
• One holiday coverage required per agency tech during contract
• Weekend rotation required once per month for non-weekend roles; every weekend for weekend role
• 1-2 shift orientation (NEO)
• Time off approvals limited to 3-4 days
• No floating required
• Chart using EPIC EMR and McKesson/Change Healthcare PACS
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT-MR or ARMRIT
• 1-2 years of experience required; outpatient experience accepted with a strong exam mix skill set
• First-time travelers accepted with significant, strong, and recent Siemens experience
• Scrub color: Any
• Free parking available

This facility is a Level IV Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center with 74 beds, offering a full range of imaging services including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department MRI services. The department operates two MRI scanners with support from an imaging patient assistant, department supervisor, and virtual radiologist coverage available around the clock. The facility utilizes advanced AI software to enhance efficiency and patient care delivery.
