American Consultants is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a travel job in Napa, California.

Job Opportunity โ€“ Mammography Technologist โ€“ Napa, CA 94558

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Napa, California

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (08:00 - 18:00), 13-week assignment

Highlights:
  • Work in a beautiful Northern California wine country setting with a daily census of approximately 35 patients
  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams in a modern 2-room department
  • Utilize Epic charting system and advanced imaging technology including Hologic equipment
  • Opportunity to expand skills with biopsy procedures and needle localization (preferred but not required)
  • Gain experience with 3-D mammography, digital mammography, and PACS systems
  • Serve adult and geriatric patient populations in an outpatient setting
Requirements:
  • ARRT (R) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Valid California state license or compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
  • Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience required
  • Experience with screening and diagnostic mammograms required
  • Skills in 3-D mammography, digital mammography, and PACS preferred
  • Experience with stereotactic biopsy, fine needle aspiration, and needle localizations preferred
  • Community hospital experience preferred
  • Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
  • Clean background check required
