Position Summary

The Field Sales Manager - San Diego owns in-store execution, distributor support, and outlet development in the Southern California / San Diego market. This role is the primary feet-on-the-street execution position responsible for turning route-to-market access into visible shelf, cold, display, POS, and sell-through execution.


Core Responsibilities

Execute store visits against approved route plans and target outlet lists.

Drive in-store compliance, shelf placement, cold placement, display execution, pricing compliance, and POS placement.

Support distributor pull-through so new placements convert into repeat orders and visible sell-through.

Open, reactivate, and defend target independent and chain accounts where Eastroc has route and account support.

Document competitor activity, pricing, availability, account issues, and market feedback in the required reporting system.

Support demos, blitzes, distributor ride-withs, and local activations with field marketing and broader sales leadership.

Requirements:

Qualifications / Experience

2+ years of beverage, CPG, DSD, convenience, grocery, or field sales experience preferred.

Strong comfort calling on independent stores, franchise operators, route managers, and local retail teams.

Ability to operate independently in market while maintaining disciplined reporting and follow-through.

Strong attention to shelf standards, cold placement, pricing, POS, and account-level detail.

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within assigned territory.
