The Packer is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by packing, boxing, and preparing finished chocolate products for shipment while maintaining quality and food safety standards. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our candy reaches customers looking its best and tasting delicious!

Packer Responsibilities

  • Place molded chocolate pieces on trays, separate designs, and refill trays as needed.
  • Move trays of chocolates to packaging machines and add bulk supplies when needed.
  • Form, seal, and stack boxes for shipping or further processing.
  • Pack chocolate pieces and candy trays by hand for the next stage of production.
  • Place chocolates into foiling molds, watch packaging lines, and prepare finished boxes.
  • Set up boxes, pack bulk candy, and get cartons ready for shipping.
  • Fill, wrap, and package chocolate bars or hollow pieces into trays or boxes.
  • Insert sticks, wrap pops, and pack them for shipping.
  • Clean machines and work areas during downtime or at the end of the shift; follow all sanitation and waste procedures.
  • Inspect products to make sure they meet quality and food safety standards.
