Packer Inspector Compensation:

  • Starting rate $17 an hour

Packer Inspector available Day shifts: 8AM- 8PM and Night shifts: 8PM - 8AM

As a Packer Inspector, you will: 
Packer provides support for the operation team by working safely, in a fast paced production warehouse environment, while inspecting product for defects and packing finished goods in correct configuration.

  • Package product into boxes and prepare for shipment
  • Check for quality issues to product and contact team lead with issues
  • Ensure you have enough supplies at your station (boxes, tape ect.)
  • Keep station clean at all times
  • Follow safety guidelines at all times

Education and/or Experience:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred
  • Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential.

Ability to follow standard work instructions is required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Able to effectively communicate. Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demand/Effort: 

Manufacturing work environment. Constant physical activities are required for this position. Such activities could include: ability to reach over head, squat, and bend at the waist; the ability to lift boxes from 0-50 lbs depending on the line assigned; ability to climb up and down stairs throughout a 12 hour shift; tolerance of standing posture continuously for 12 hours; intense walking is involved; able to tolerate working environment with inside excessive hot and cold temperatures.

  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and clothing, when required, such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat/bump cap, hair/beard net and gloves
  • Ability to stand, walk, twist, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, bend throughout the duration of the scheduled shift
  • Prolonged standing while performing the duties of the job
  • Job requires high level of manual dexterity with repetitive use of hands, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles
