Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Produce Packer to join our team in Roxbury, MA. The Produce Packer is responsible for sorting, packaging, labeling, and stocking fresh fruits and vegetables in a clean and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
  • Sort, clean, and package fresh produce for display
  • Label packages accurately with product names, weights, and sell-by dates
  • Refill and rotate produce displays using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method
  • Maintain cleanliness of the packing area, tools, and storage coolers
  • Follow store guidelines on packaging types, branding, and pricing
  • Assist with receiving and unloading produce shipments
  • Communicate shortages, overripe produce, or damaged items to supervisors
  • Comply with all food safety, sanitation, and store policies
