Large managed care company is looking for a Pharmacy Technician for a short-term contract position.

WORK LOCATION: 6767 Old Madison Pike NW, Ste 305, Huntsville, AL 35806

PAY: $19.00

CONTRACT DATES: 8/17/26 - 11/30/26

HOURS: M-F, 8-5

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enter prescriptions and verify appropriate and accurate information
  • Contact patients, pharmacists, and doctor's offices to resolve claims issues
  • Process and pick prescriptions (from intake to order completion)
  • Resolve customer issues; ensuring accurate information is provided
  • Packing orders for shipment
  • Receiving supply and drug orders

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Highschool/GED or equivalent
  • Current Alabama Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
  • PTCB Certification
  • Retail, hospital or infusion pharmacy technician experience
  • Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications including ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
