Warehouse Packer

Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. is currently hiring for a full-time Warehouse Packer to work out of our office in Donora, PA. Packers are responsible for assembling and packing orders as well as quality control. Candidates must be able to work from picking ticket or folder, pull the correct components, and assemble and pack the order correctly.

Essential Duties:

  • Obtain work copy and match with original order.
  • Pull hardware necessary to complete order and check against the work order.
  • Pack and prepare order for shipping, include job number on package.
  • Pull will call orders for customers and have customers sign for receipt of order.
  • Notify managers concerning any non-conformities and the need for repairs to the facility or equipment.
  • Maintain a healthy and safe working environment.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Have exceptional attention to detail
  • Have basic computer knowledge
  • Be able to stand and work in a warm environment for an 8 hour shift
  • Have good working knowledge of figures and numbers
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and know products and part numbers.
  • Be able to work quickly and efficiently
  • Be able to lift and carry heavy objects (over 50 pounds)
