Paint and Pack Associate- 1st Shift
General Description:
Packer personnel package parts according to customer specifications. The packer reports to the Paint and Pack Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
  • Support and follow the Company Safety Programs
  • Support and follow Quality & Environmental Programs
  • Removing parts from paint line hooks
  • Packing parts
  • Loading parts into racks and bins
  • Adding customer specifications to packaging or packaging materials
  • Detecting product defects
  • Repair banders when required
  • Ensuring quality requirements are met
  • Performing minor salvage and repair
  • Hanging parts on hooks
  • Hanging proper hooks for parts to be painted
  • Sorting parts by type
  • Removing unpainted parts from racks or bins
  • Perform all other worked as deemed necessary by supervision

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to perform repetitive bending, reaching, and lifting motions
  • Able to stand for extended periods
  • Knowledge of hanging patterns
  • Knowledge of hook types

Job Location:
Performed inside the plant.
