Job Summary:
Provides a high level of customer service and satisfaction when selling a broad range of products to the Customer and works towards achieving the highest level of sales. Delivers best-in-class service that fully represents the prestige of the Omaha Steaks brand at all times and through all actions. Serves as a backup to the Store Manager.
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
  • Greets and assists customers with product knowledge and purchasing needs. Sells a broad range of products to the Customer and suggests upgrades and add-ons to increase total sales in order to achieve monthly sales goals.
  • Accurately operates retail cash register system, being sure to capture name and address and proper sales information for all transactions.
  • Assists in receiving weekly truck deliveries. Stocks freezer consistent with operating procedures and directions from Store Manager.
  • Performs physical inventory and follows all inventory procedures.
  • Resolves customer questions or complaints.
  • Performs functions of opening or closing stores to include: counting cash, nightly deposit, and securing the store.
  • Other duties as assigned include fulfilling Buy Online, Ship from Store (BOSS) orders by accurately selecting, packing, and preparing items for shipment in a timely manner. Maintains a clean and orderly store environment, including tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning restrooms, as needed.
  • Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality.
