Our client is looking for an Picking & Packing Associate for a project and below is the detailed requirement.
Job Title: Picking & Packing Associate
Location: North Carolina - Multiple Locations (Onsite)
Qualifications & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior warehouse, logistics, fulfillment, or inventory experience is preferred.
  • 0-3+ years of experience in order picking, packing, shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
  • Experience using handheld scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory tracking tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to accurately pick, pack, weigh, label, and prepare customer orders for delivery.
  • Familiarity with inventory counting, stock audits, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a small team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
  • Physically capable of standing, walking, lifting, carrying packages, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Reliable transportation with the ability to commute within a 20-mile radius of the work location.
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, overtime, and successfully complete background screening and drug testing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive customer orders through the warehouse management system and accurately pick items from inventory shelves.
  • Pack customer orders according to established quality and safety standards.
  • Weigh, validate, and record package information before dispatch.
  • Request and coordinate aircraft/drone pickup once orders are ready for delivery.
  • Transport completed packages from the packing station to the designated aircraft pickup location.
  • Safely load packages onto aircraft/drone while following all operational and safety procedures.
  • Perform daily inventory counts, stock verification, and audit activities to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
  • Report failed orders, inventory discrepancies, or operational issues to the customer support team and escalate onsite concerns to the Team Lead.
  • Participate in required safety, operational, and online training programs while adhering to company policies and procedures.
